About SEE Brighton
In contrast to mainstream language schools, SEE Brighton's approach is focused on language learning for adults. Our service is tailored for Spanish-speaking visitors who prefer to develop their confidence in a relaxed, sociable environment - rather than a formal classroom, which can be off-putting for some.
We’ve used our local knowledge to build a unique network of services providers. We choose our English tutors based on their commitment to building the confidence of adult learners using a variety of innovative methods. Our accommodation providers provide friendly and high-quality places to stay at a variety of price levels. Where possible, we prefer that staff can speak to visitors in Spanish.
Our events organisers support our itineraries of social and cultural events. These range from live music and theatre to specialist guided tours and outdoors, water-sports and more. We aim to match our itineraries with the interests of our visitors. We look out for fun and unusual activities and we provide a Spanish-speaking guide to ensure everyone can take part.
Social goals
SEE Brighton is a Community Interest Company founded on the principle that learning a language can improve confidence and employability for everyone. We reinvest our profits to encourage adults who might otherwise think that language learning is "too difficult" or "not for me". We also support local activities that promote cultural exchange between communities in Brighton and Spain.
