Nightlife

Clubs & live music

Brighton is a great alternative to London clubbing - friendly, intimate venues with creative playlists and a relaxed, 'anything goes' attitude. All centred around the seafront, so you can stroll (or stagger) back to your hotel. And with two universities in the town, it's no surprise that Brighton is a hub for live music of all kinds.

Gay scene

Brighton has had a thriving gay scene for as long as anyone can remember, with an eclectic range of venues, performers and special events. Most of the action is in the Kemp Town neighbourhood.
