Brighton has some of the best weather in the UK, though it can still be wet and windy, even in summer. The cold days may account for the city’s well-developed music and cultural scene, but when it’s sunny everyone heads for the beach!
Kayaks, wind-surfers, sail boats and diving gear are available for hire from the many schools and watersports specialists along the seafront. Alternatively, just lie back on the pebbles and enjoy a free ‘hot stones massage’, or hang out at the Marina for cocktails.

Take a trip to the South Downs for a country walk and pub lunch. The Downs offer splendid views and routes along the cliffs, or inland across the hills.

Or...roll down a 1km hill with a friend in a giant, transparent plastic ball! Well, why not?? Orb 360 also offer mountain boarding. which if you don't know "involves a oversized skate-board bmx style wheels and a lot of bravery!"
