Seafront
Everyone heads to the beach in the summer! Sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, kitesurfing and diving are all available. You can even go out on a fishing boat and try to catch a few mackerel. In the evenings, people set up their BBQs and campfires and hang out after the pubs are shut.
Brighton Marina
The restaurants overlooking the marina offer an excellent vantage point for checking out some very expensive power boats and yachts. Many of which never seem to actually leave the harbour! Stroll along the jetties and browse the outlet designer stores. Photo:

Brighton Pier
A step back in time to the hey-day of England’s seaside towns. Traditional attractions, candy floss, fish and chips and fairground rides. Open from 10am.
West Pier
First built in 1866, this grade-1 listed building burned down in mysterious circumstances in 2003.Today the West Pier is a forbidding presence, a hulking skeleton looming out of the sea, encrusted with rust and seaweed. New plans are proposed from time to time - though some local residents like it just the way it is!
